He joined the 392nd at Biggs Field and did clerical work both in the 576th and in Gp Hq before becoming 1st Sgt. He was drafted at age 39. He had a great voice and when Glenn Miller visited the base in 1945, Ted was part of a duet that sang with the band." Per SO#61, 15Apr44, transferred from GpHq to 576th.
